Rosa’s Thai, George Street
This January, diners at Rosa’s Thai ordering one of its hottest ‘three chilli’ dishes to combat the January blues will get a Thai iced drink on the house, to cool things down.
From fiery green curry – a bestseller on Rosa’s menu since 2008 – to punchy papaya salad, Rosas’ ‘Thai spicy’ dishes are warm, comforting and full of flavour and spice – the perfect antidote to Christmas over-indulgence.
From 27 December to 16 February, guests at any Rosa’s Thai restaurant, who order a green curry, drunken noodles, pad kra pao or papaya salad will receive the complimentary homemade Thai iced drink.
A refreshing accompaniment to a spicy dish, guests can choose from Nam Manao (homemade Thai lemonade), Thai iced tea, and lemongrass and pandan iced tea.
Marco Pierre White Restaurant, Godstow Road
Diners looking to enjoy a meal out in January 2025 can head to Marco Pierre White’s restaurant at The Leonardo Royal Hotel on Godstow Road, where they can tuck into a main course for half the price!
Available at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill, anyone who fancies a meal that’s been devised by the renowned chef and restaurateur, will be able to do so for just 50% of the normal price.
Including all main courses (not sharing steaks), it means anyone who wants to go out for a celebration, date night or just to enjoy a meal out, can do so knowing it will be superb value for money.
Kiran Saini, food and beverage manager said: “This is a fantastic offer. With the New Year being a time when a lot of people tighten their belts following the over-indulgence of Christmas, to enjoy a main course for half the price is a great way to go out for a meal.”
Flight Club, Westgate Centre
If, like many of us, you’re in major need of a detox by January, Flight Club has all the ingredients needed for an epic booze-free experience.
The fairground-inspired bar (think lights blinking in time to the music and an actual carousel horse), hosts Social Darts (a high-tech version of the classic game) for up to 12 people per play space, a resident DJ for guaranteed party vibes and an impressive selection of low and no-alcohol options on the menu.
And if you’re a fan of bottomless brunch, Flight Club’s take on the weekend pastime is a great shout if you’re avoiding alcohol. Flight Club’s ‘bottomless’ refers to the unlimited pizza that is continuously brought to your table during your two-hour session.
There’s alcohol-free prosecco (and standard prosecco for those who want to make it a boozy affair) and mocktails on offer throughout, plus 60 minutes of Social Darts.
