The Oxfordshire restaurants in the AA Restaurant Guide 2022
One Oxfordshire restaurant - Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons - achieved the highest rating of five rosettes, awarded to 17 restaurants across the country. The accolade means the inspectors felt the cooking was at par with the best restaurants in the world.
Orwells in Shiplake, near Henley-on-Thames, got four rosettes, which means the cooking demands national recognition. And Shaun Dickens at the Boathouse in Henley-on-Thames, The Wild Rabbit in Kingham, Minster Mill near Witney and Two One Five in Oxford’s Summertown received 3 Rosettes each.
The guide contains over 1,800 professionally rated restaurants by county and has been running since 1956. It is entirely at the discretion of the AA inspectors whether a visit will take place and in what time frame and restaurants are only selected for inspection by the local AA inspector.
The compact and practical AA Restaurant Guide 2022 to Britain and Ireland’s top dining destinations is available to buy on amazon.co.uk and other leading bookshops.
