There are plenty of world-class music festivals being held across Oxfordshire. And after a long day of sun and debauchery, there’s nothing better than a warm shower and your own bed – especially when you’re as out of practice as we are now. So while 2021’s festival season might be over, there are already tickets available for 2022 events. Take a look at our list of the best music festivals in Oxfordshire, and get booking.

Nocturne Live 2022 at Blenheim Palace

16 to 19 June 2022
Blenheim Palace, Woodstock

Festival lineup includes: David Gray, Simple Minds, Lionel Richie, UB40 feat. Ali & Astro

Nocturne Live turns The Great Court at Blenheim Palace into a grand arena with world-class acts and 7,000 seats. It can be an all-day affair with VIP dining in the famous State Rooms, a stroll in the palace’s vast grounds, or a waterside picnic. It can also be an evening gig for those who just want to hear their favourite live music.

Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire

Henley Royal Regatta is undoubtedly one of the best-known regattas in the world; and a highlight of both the summer sporting calendar and the English social season. Spectators are thrilled by over 200 races of an international standard which can include Olympic rowers, as well as crews new to the event. And not to forget the range of exceptional food and wine on offer.

PLEASE NOTE: The 2021 Regatta will not be held from 29 June to 04 July at Henley-on-Thames as planned. Instead, the organisers intend stage the event from Wednesday 11 to Sunday 15 August 2021, should conditions allow, or if not, a Regatta at Dorney Lake at dates in August to be determined.

Bicester, Oxfordshire

The Summer Jaguar Festival will now take place as a one-day event within the atmospheric surroundings of Bicester Heritage on 04 July 2021 and will celebrate 60 years of the iconic E-type, plus the anniversaries of the Mark 10, X-Type, XK8 and X150 as well as Jaguar’s first victory at Le Mans.

The festival was planned to take place over the weekend of 14 to 16 May 2021 at Heythrop Park Hotel and Blenheim Palace.

The festival takes place at Hill Farm in Steventon, and it is widely regarded as one of the unmissable music festivals in Oxfordshire.

There is cautious optimism that the Fairport Cropredy Convention 2021 will be staged, as planned, over the weekend of 12 to 14 August 2021. The annual festival of folk and rock music, headed by British folk-rock band Fairport Convention is held on the edge of the village of Cropredy in Oxfordshire.
