There is nothing like a full weekend of sunshine and music and the PM laying out a four-step plan for easing restrictions by midsummer gives us all something to look forward to, finally! So with many of Oxfordshire’s favourite festivals set to go ahead this summer, here are our picks for the unmissable festivals in Oxfordshire in 2021. And no matter where you are in the county, it seems there's pretty much an event near you.

Nocturne Live 2021 at Blenheim Palace

17 to 20 June
Woodstock, Oxfordshire

Festival lineup includes: David Gray, Simple Minds, Lionel Richie, UB40 feat. Ali & Astro

Nocturne Live turns The Great Court at Blenheim Palace into a grand arena with world-class acts and 7,000 seats. It can be an all-day affair with VIP dining in the famous State Rooms, a stroll in the palace’s vast grounds, or a waterside picnic. It can also be an evening gig for those who just want to hear their favourite live music.

Bicester, Oxfordshire

Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire

Henley Royal Regatta is undoubtedly one of the best-known regattas in the world; and a highlight of both the summer sporting calendar and the English social season. Spectators are thrilled by over 200 races of an international standard which can include Olympic rowers, as well as crews new to the event. And not to forget the range of exceptional food and wine on offer.

PLEASE NOTE: The 2021 Regatta will not be held from 29 June to 04 July at Henley-on-Thames as planned. Instead, the organisers are considering Tuesday 10 August to Sunday 15 August should conditions allow, or if not, a Regatta at Dorney Lake at dates in August to be determined.
