Oxfordshire’s favourite recipes in 2020

Thinking about making something delicious for dinner tonight, before you decide on what's on the menu, take a looks at the 10 most viewed recipes on The Oxford Magazine - and perhaps a proxy for Oxfordshire's favourite recipes in 2020.

Unsurprisingly, the top recipes are great for the family and special occasions, and they represent home-cooked food at its best. Some because they are great for getting the kids involved in cooking family meals.

Others, like the Spaghetti and the Parmesan Roast Chicken recipes, make it unto the list of Oxfordshire's favourite recipes in 2020, perhaps, because we also tend to like recipes for wholesome meals that are equally quick and easy to make - especially during the busier weekdays - as opposed to gourmet recipes.

Our inspiring, and dare we say, the most viewed vegetarian recipe was the Aubergine Curry Recipe by Oli's Thai. This twist on the classic red curry, using roasted European aubergines, also happens to be the most popular dish in their restaurant.

It's important to put some context around this. There are undoubtedly many favourites that we don't need a recipe for - here the Sunday roast - comes to mind. This list, in it's truest form, represents the recipes that our readers have engaged with the most over the last year.
